Christmas at Old Quebec Street Mall is a joyous and exciting time. Each year the shops are filled with holiday spirit and the decorations are mesmerizing. Families enjoy the many Christmas events and the Guelph community comes together to prepare for a season of giving.
This year, students from the Visual Merchandising Arts Program at Conestoga College will create custom wreaths for each of the shops and help bring the Christmas spirit to life throughout the mall. The wreaths will be designed and assembled by the students as part of the course curriculum and will showcase the various brands that call Old Quebec Street Mall home.
On November 20, 2016, the Guelph Santa Claus Parade will be taking place in downtown Guelph starting at 1:30pm. Following the parade, we invite you to visit Old Quebec Street Shoppes to step back in time and experience a Victorian Christmas where you can warm up with some hot chocolate. The event will be complete with entertainers strolling through the promenade, carolers in period costumes singing for visitors and the chance the say hello to Santa Claus and take a picture!
We encourage you and your family to come together at Old Quebec Street Shoppes this November as we prepare for the holiday season! Please contact us to learn more about these events!
