Happy Canada Day 150! Why do you love Canada?
We Guelphites are a proud bunch and realize how good we have it in Guelph. We are also equally as proud of Canada. During the recent Art on the Street festival in downtown Guelph we asked visitors to Old Quebec Street Shoppes, “Why do you love Canada?” Using only one word, we heard replies such as: diversity, mountains, manners, hockey, kindness, free healthcare and maple syrup to name just a few! How would you answer?
We look forward to celebrating Canada 150, Guelph style – in beautiful Riverside Park. The day’s festivities include free carousal and mini-train rides, a petting zoo, food vendors and fun fair. The evening is the perfect end to the day’s festivities with live music and fireworks. See more info here. Happy Canada Day 150!
