The Old Quebec Street Mall is deeply rooted in the history and culture of the Guelph community. That is why we continue to take part in events and activities that allow our thriving community to flourish.
At Old Quebec Street Mall we are proud of our vibrant arts community. This year we are celebrating artists both young and old with our Sidewalk Chalk Art event, which coincides with Art on the Street.
The Sidewalk Chalk Art event takes place on Saturday July 16th from 11:00am to 3:00pm in front of Old Quebec Street Shoppes. We encourage people of all ages, families, friends, and work groups to register and join us in exploring our inner artists! Chalk kits are supplied for all registered participants.

On July 16th we will also be hosting the Summer’s Glory 2016 event. Summer’s glory is the annual flower show put on by the Guelph Horticultural Society (GHS) and features both horticultural and flower design categories. The show is open to all GHS members and all entries will be judged by a trained Ontario Horticultural Association judge based on a points system for first, second, and third place prizes.
The Guelph Horticultural Society is a registered charity and donations are always welcome. There will also be opportunity to purchase a membership at the show.
